Adding New Ward/Bed Record howrec.bmp 
To add new ward/bed record give Menu Command Room Record. A window will be displayed for ward/bed record Entry. The various details about the room as room #, ward / category, tariff Rs., amenities and charges in Rs. can be typed in the text boxes which are labeled accordingly. The status for that room as room Occupied at present and current S/L no., is automatically entered by the program. If you make entry of correct Visit S/N then the room occupancy can be changed. These data fields or text boxes are bound to the Data Control linked to room information database. As you will click one of the four buttons on the data control you will see the text displayed in the bound text boxes change accordingly. To add new ward/bed record press command button Add on the Data Command Button Group . The various data field of the room record will become empty so that you can enter a new record. A new unique room # will be selected and be displayed in the Room # field. Room # should be unique and it must be given. You can fill in here any room number you like. Now you can start typing the appropriate information in the text boxes. To move from one text box / field to another use Tab and Shift Tab keys help you to move upward direction on the keyboard or use mouse. All rooms can be categorized under some category. To define new category enter the room Category in the text box marked Category and move to next field. If it does not already exist in the category list then it will be added to the Category list. To select one of the defined categories click the Category List and select the appropriate category by clicking it on the list. This classification is useful for if the rooms are classified like Single, Double, Deluxe, A/c etc. Various other details about the room like Tariff, Luxury Tax, Service Charge and Amenities and Charges in Rs. can be given. Tariff is entered for three different occupancy : single occupancy, double occupancy and for extra person. Amenities and Charges in Rs. are also entered in six categories like telephone, attached bath, b/w TV, color TV, Air Cooler and Air Conditioner. When you have finished entering the record then press command button Add. A message will be displayed " Save Changes ?", press Yes to save the entered record or press No to abort. You can enter another record or do something else. To save your record automatically. Tick check box Save All Changes Automatically. To add another record again press command button Add and follow the above steps. To close room record press command button Close. To set up status of the given room tick the given box Room Occupied at Present , if your status is yes please enter the current S/L no. in the given box.
