To add new DPS record give Menu Command Daily Page wise Statistics. A window will be displayed for DPS Record Entry. To add new DPS Record press command button Add Record . The various data field of the DPS will become empty so that you can enter a new record and heading of this command button will be changed as Update Record .
The various details about the DPS can be typed in the text boxes which are labeled accordingly. These data fields or text boxes are bound to the Data Control linked to Advertisement information database. As you will click one of the four buttons on the data control you will see the text displayed in the bound text boxes change accordingly.
Now fill in the insertion date in frame marked Insertion Date . Insertion date is the date when the advertisement is printed. Press command button marked OK to list all the AAF for the insertion date. When you click the AAF item in the grid then the item will be displayed for edit. Various fields that you need to fill in while confirming the DPS include date., page number on which the advertisement is printed, News Space Used and Advertisement Space Used. Check the check box marked Verified to verify the DPS. This way you can all the pages which have advertisement printed.
To move from one text box / field to another use Tab and Shift Tab keys help you to move upward direction on the keyboard or use mouse.
When you have finished entering the record then press command button Update Record. A message will be displayed " Do You Want to Save The Current Record ?", press lquote Yes' to save the entered record or press No to abort. You can enter another record or do something else. To save your record automatically Tick check box Save All Changes Automatically.
To add another record again press command button Add and follow the above steps. To close DPS Record press command button Close.
