Fixed Assets Chart(Half Yearly) Fixed Assets Chart, Accounts Module

At the end of the financial year Fixed Assets Chart is used to provide the depreciation accounting which is must for every business for the following reasons :
1. Recovery of cost incurred on fixed assets over their useful life so as to keep owner's capital intact.
2. For replacement cost on the retirement of original assets.
3. To include the depreciation in the cost of production to find out the correct cost of production.
4. To find out correct profit for the year.
5. To find out the correct financial position through balance sheet.
To see Fixed Assets Chart select menu command Fixed Assets Chart under main menu heading Accounts . Fixed Assets Chart window will be displayed with the account code, account particulars, opening balance, additions in year Dr, deletions in year Cr, closing balance, percentage of depreciation, amount of depreciation, written down value and voucher number. Percentage of depreciation is given in account setup and depreciation amount is calculated according to fixed asset and depreciation percentage.
to select depreciation account name click on drop down list box of depreciation account names under heading Select Depreciation A/C Name . Select name of depreciation account from this list and press command button Display Depreciation Chart . The report will be displayed. The Date is given in the text box with the heading of Vou. Posting Date. If you wish to make depreciation voucher then press command button Make Depreciation Voucher . A small window with the heading Make Depreciation Voucher will be displayed with the Depreciation Account Name, Voucher Date and confirmation message Do you want to create the voucher ? if you press Yes then voucher will be created or if you don't wish to create then press No . To delete depreciation voucher press command button Delete depreciation Voucher a message will be displayed to prompt you " Are you sure that you want to DELETE the depreciation vouchers created for the current financial year ? ", if you want to delete then press Yes depreciation voucher will be deleted or if you don't want to delete then press No .
To print the Fixed assets Chart press command button Print a small window will be displayed to prompt you that Printing Fixed assets Chart ? if you press Yes then again a message will be displayed that Do Fast Printing ? , press Yes to continue the printing in Fast mode, press No to abort fast printing and to cancel the printing press Cancel .
At the end of the financial year Fixed Assets Chart is prepared by calculating depreciation on yearly but you can also prepare the fixed assets chart by calculating the depreciation on half yearly basis.
To see the fixed asset chart(yearly) refer to : Fixed Assets Chart(Yearly)
To close the report press command button Close .
