To Edit / Print / Delete Vouchers after they are saved give Menu Command Edit / Print / Delete Vouchers . Edit / Print / Delete Vouchers window will be displayed. All four types of voucher can be edited in this window.
The data control with the caption VOUCHER LIST is associated with vouchers already made. You can scroll it to see the vouchers and go to appropriate voucher. To select any voucher enter the voucher number in Go to Voucher Frame in voucher no. text box. Press command button Go to . The voucher with this number will be fetched. If the voucher does not exist then a message will be displayed.
You can also press the command button marked List . The list of vouchers sorted as per their numbers will be displayed. You can select any voucher for edit by double clicking it.
When the edit window is opened or data control is scrolled some voucher controls are in inactive mode or disabled so that you do not make changes unintentionally. They are shown in gray colours and they do not respond to any input from you until you opt to actually start edit by pressing command button Edit .
When the voucher you want to edit is displayed then press the command button Edit. A message will be displayed along with the status of the voucher asking you if you want to proceed with edit. If the status is posted then after edit the voucher will be reposted in the ledger. Answer yes if you want to edit the voucher. Answer yes if you want to edit the voucher. All the voucher controls will be made active or enabled so that you can make the desired changes. Make any changes you want to as you do while making a new voucher. Once you have finished making the changes press command button Save to save the changes. If you do not ask to save the changes they will not be saved automatically and will be lost. Press command button Save to save and continue edit. Press command button Update if you want to save and end edit. You are prompted if you want to save the changes. If you have already saved them or you do not want to save them then answer no.
Once you end edit the voucher controls will change once again and some of them will become inactive again, you can edit another voucher if you like.
To delete any voucher first display it before you using the data control or the Go To command button. Once the voucher you want to delete is displayed press command button Delete . You will get a message along with the status of the voucher asking you to confirm delete. If you answer yes the voucher will be deleted from all places including the ledger.
