To add new sale entry give Menu Command Petrol / Diesel Credit Sales Only under the main menu Petrol Pump. In the main petrol pump window you can also click the tab marked appropriately. A window will be displayed for credit or credit card sales entry of petrol and diesel. It is only for products sold through machine, i.e., petrol and diesel. The various details about the sale entry like rate, qty, amount and item name (one of petrol and diesel to be selected through option button) can be entered in the text boxes which are labeled accordingly.
To add new sale entry for petrol or diesel press command button Make New Bill. The various data field of the sale entry will become empty so that you can enter a new entry. New number for the sale bill will be filled in by the computer. Also the current date will be taken as the date. These details are internal and fixed and can not be changed. The date taken is the computer date.
Now you select one of credit or credit card option button. One of the following windows shall show up as applicable for the details of customer account for the details of the credit card.

Now you can start typing the appropriate information in the text boxes. You can also specify the vehicle number of the vehicle taking the fuel or oil for recording with credit sales. To move from one text box / field to another use Tab and Shift Tab keys on the keyboard or use mouse. The item name can be selected by clicking on eof the option button marked Petrol and Diesel. The rate is fetched automatically. You can not add the new item here. If you wanted to add any new item please refer Add New Product. You can select a name from this list easily. Various other details about the item like qty., rate may be given and amount will be calculated automatically.
To include this item in the bill here then press command button Add Item. If there are more than one item that you want to add here then select another quantity press command button Add Item. Only on type of item petrol or diesel can be taken in the bill. Now you have to press command button Save This Bill. When you press Save This Bill then the record is saved. Command Button Add Item is used to enter 2nd, 3rd ... product item. You can also delete and item by using command button marked Delete Item. After you selected the last item do not press Add Item, instead, you should press Save This Bill to save this record. After the record is saved you will see all the items you entered in the bill displayed below in the grid.
When you have finished entering the record press command button Save This Bill ,so you will get following messages : " Do you want to save the current record ?". If you want to save the record then answer Yes to the above message. then you can enter another record or do something else. To save your record automatically Tick check box Save All Changes Automatically.
A bill with no items or with items both of petrol and disel can not be saved in the program.
When you save the bill this entry is saved in the sales invoices and the inventory and accounts are made upto date. Now once the process is done you shall a new command button with caption Print Bill # ... where ... is the number of the bill saved. This is your only chance to print this bill from here. If you do not print now you can later print it while reviewing the sales invoices.
To add another record press command button Make New Bill. To close sale entry window press command button Close.
