Adding New Machine Reading

To enter the new petrol/diesel machine entry, select the option Fuel Pumping Machine Readings from the Petrol Pump menu. A window will be displayed for entering the machine entry. To add new machine reading first select the date by clicking the command button marked Select Date. A calendar shall be displayed for you to select the date.
After you have selected the date the yesterday's reading shall be automatically read. You can enter today's readings for each pump in the grid column marked Today's Readings.
Note that when you start to use the program you have to enter the first day reading and the readings of the day before so that day delivery can be calculated. So you have to select date twice and enter the reading only in Today's Readings column. If you are starting from, for example, 1-10-2005 then you should first enter readings for 30-9-2005 and then for 1-10-2005. You will start from 1-10-2005 and you can not post the sales for 31-9-2005 as the day delivery for that date can not be calculated.
In the grid below you can also note the DIP readings for each tank. The DIP readings are noted only for manual verification and these are not used to post the sales or inventory. If you do not have DIP readings for every day you can leave the entries blank.
After you fill in the values other values in the grid shall be automatically calculated. To save the readings press command button marked Save Readings. If you want to delete any day's reading to re-enter them press the command button marked Delete Readings.
