Cash is accumulating at the petrol pump all the time. It has to be transferred many times in the day from the pump to bank or office etc. Creating and saving this record creates petrol / diesel sales entries in the ledger and updates the cashbook.

This action must be done once a day as it is required for closing the day for the purpose of calculating cash sales of petrol and diesel dispensed through the pump machines and to tally the cash for the day.

Once you are ready to post select the date by clicking the command button marked Select Date. This will open calendar for you to select date. Once you select the date the data of sales shall be fetched. Check the details and press command button marked Post Sales for Day to post sales and update the inventory. A cash fuel sales invoice shall be automatically created.

If the sales for the day have already been posted you can not re-post it without deleting the associated invoices for cash fuel sales and credit fuel sales.
