Restoring Data from the Floppy
Data must be regularly backed up on floppies in order to recover from a data loss due to system failure which can prove to be expensive. Data is regularly backed up by the program at another location, in sub directory , on the hard disk. However, data must also be backed up floppies for further protection.
Give Menu command Back up Restore Data to open up Backup / Restore Data window.

Data back up is a one key operation .To back up put a formatted floppy in a floppy drive. Select the drive letter in the drive list combo marked Select Floppy Drive. After ensuring that the correct drive is selected and the drive door is closed press command button BACK UP . The back up process will be started. If the floppy is full then you will be prompted to put another diskette. Mark Name of the company, Financial year and Floppy no & date of back up on the level of the disk.
If data on the hard disk at both locations is lost or corrupted data can be restored from the backed up floppies. Data restoring is also a one key operation. To restore up put data floppy of the selected company in a floppy drive. Select the drive letter in the drive list combo marked Select Floppy Drive. After ensuring that the correct drive is selected and the drive door is closed press command button RESTORE . The Restore process will be started. You must put all diskettes as they were backed up with the data of the financial year of the company as per Name of the company, Financial year and Floppy no on the level of the disks made during back up.
If you want to revert to the back up on the hard disk the select drive as C: . You will lose all entries made since the last back up.
The data is stored at two locations on the hard drive. If you want to restore data from secondary hard disk backup then press command button Secondary Restore .
If you want to permanently delete the data of currently open company then press command button FLUSH DATA .
W A R N I N G : FLUSHING THE DATA EMPTIES THE DATA FILES OF THE OPENED COMAPNY. ONLY FLUSH DATA WHEN YOU WANT TO CLEAR ALL ENTRIES AND START AFRESH.
Test and backup your data regularly in order to avoid losses from Data Loss.
