Edit or Delete Delivery Challan

To Edit / Delete Delivery Challan after they are saved give Menu Command Edit or Delete Delivery Challan. Edit / Delete Delivery Challan Window will be dispalyed. It consists of products name, unit and quantity.
The Data Control with the caption D.C. LIST is associated with the delivery challan already made. You can scroll it to see the delivery challan and go to appropriate delivery challan. To select any delivery challan enter the delivery challan number in Goto Delivery Challan Frame. Press command button Goto. The delivery challan with this number will be fetched. If the delivery challan does not exist then a message will be displayed. You can also display a Customer wise list of all delivery challan for a period by pressing the command button List in the GoTo frame.

A small window will be displayed, the list will be prepared for a period starting from a start of the current financial year up to the current date. You can prepare the list for any period by deleting the displayed date. Double Click on the entry field of date and press keyboard key Delete, this will delete the existing date. After entering the period and presing the command button List All in the list frame. You can find the delivery challan you want to edit in this list. After bringing this delivery challan in focus in this list press command button Edit. This delivery challan will be opened in the edit window. To close the list frame press command button Close.
When the edit window is opened or data control is scrolled delivery challan controls are in inactive mode or disabled so that you can not make changes unintentionally, they are shown in grey colours and they do not respond to any input from you untill you opt to actually start edit by pressing command button Edit.
When the delivery challan you want to edit is displayed then press the command button Edit. A message will be displayed along with the status of the delivery challan asking you if you want to proceed with edit. Answer yes if you want to edit the delivery challan. All the delivery challan controls will be made active or enabled so that you can make the desired changes. Make any changes you want to as you do while making a new delivery challan. Once you have finished making the changes press command button Save to save the changes. If you do not ask to save the changes they will not be saved automatically and will be lost. Press command button Save to save and continue edit. Press command button Update if you want to save and end edit. You are prompted if you want to save the changes. If you have already saved them or you do not want to save them then answer no.
Once you end edit, the delivery challan controls will change once again and some of them will become inactive again you can edit another delivery challan if you like.
To delete any delivery challan first display it using the data control or the GoTo command button. Once the delivery challan you want to delete is displayed press command button Delete. You will get a message along with the status of exice gate pass asking you to confirm delete.
To print the Delivery Challan press command button Print. A dialog box will appear with the message " DO YOU WANT TO USE FASTER PRINT ENGINE ? " if you answer yes, it will print the delivery challan in text mode or if you answer No to the dialog box it will print the delivery challan using windows fonts.
