List of Products Product List, Product Module, Editing Product Record

Product List is the alphabetical list of the products in the product database. It displays Code, Description, In Stock, Stock Value, Cost Price, Sale Price, M.R.P., Supplier, VAT %, CST % and Location of the products.
To prepare supplier wise list of products click option button Supplier Name , press command button Find and select one of the supplier from the Supplier Selection List . Press command button OK. The list of the products belonging to that supplier will be displayed. To list all products press option button List All.
To prepare locationwise list of products click drop down list of Locations and select one of the locations where products are stored and then click the option button Location. The list of the products stored at that location will be displayed. To list all products press option button List All.
To prepare Groupwise list of products select one of the Group to which products belong, from the drop down list of the Groups and then click the option button Group. The list of the products of that Group will be displayed. To list again all products press option button List All.
Editing Records From Product List :
To edit any record shown in the product list first click the desired name in the product list or bring focus to the right name using the cursor and tab keys. When the product record you want to edit is in focus press Edit command button. The product record will be displayed in Product Record Form. You can edit the this record move to other records and edit or delete them as you desire. When you press Close command button the program will return you to the product list. If you want to see the effect of editing in the product list immediately then press option Button List All or choose appropriate option.
The above feature is useful when some selected records from the product list are to be edited.
Deleting Records From Product List :
To delete any record shown in the product list first click the desired name in the product list or bring focus to the right name using the cursor and tab keys. When the product record you want to delete is in focus press Delete command button. It will display message "Do You Want to Delete this Product from Record" followed with Product Code and Product Name. If you press Yes it will delete the highlighted record from Product list.
